Georgia Setterfield
Founder of Sussex Equine Therapy & Equine Specialist
I completed my training to become an equine specialist with Eagala in 2019 but have been passionate about animals and the therapeutic benefit they bring us long before that, since growing up on a farm in Sussex.
After completing a degree in Criminology & Applied Psychology, I went on to work with a substance misuse charity supporting people to achieve their goals.
I currently work part-time in the Public Health Specialist Team with Brighton & Hove City Council where we are responsible for commissioning specialist services such as sexual health, substance misuse, and mental health.
I am also kept busy raising two young children.
I have an enhanced DBS check and am fully insured.

The Horses (Equine)
We have a variety of horses and ponies that we are able to use for the sessions. We choose them based on the needs and presentation of the client.
Jacqueline Giles (MBACP)
Qualified integrative counsellor and creative arts psychotherapist, with over 20 years of experience
I am trained and qualified with both Eagala and Epona methods of EAP.
I worked for YMCA Dialogue as a counsellor for 3 years assessing and counselling young people
between the ages of 12 - 25.
I also work in Private practice, with all ages, combining the arts
and horses where appropriate and according to the requirements of
the client. Horses have been a major part of my life from
childhood onwards, bringing emotional healing and closeness.
By combining the integrative theoretical methods, with the
expressive arts and horses, the goal of this restorative practice is to expand the client’s emotional regulation and increase the client’s capacity for building healthy relationships and attachment bonds.
